The Guitars & Cadillacs Band  Bio:

The beginnings of the Guitars & Cadillacs band are found in the early ninety's in California. Founding member of the band, Hal Singer, had a song he co-wrote appear in Billboard Magazine as a recommended single for radio airplay. The record, B.S., I Love You, was a full throated rockabilly number, sung by Hal, which was then picked up by a London based record label and released in Europe. Following this success Hal put together a band to support the release. This band was Hal Singer & Falling Dollars. Hal recruted Johnny Rocker, a veteran of the Northern California country scene as a fellow guitar player in the band, and the neucleus of The Guitars & Cadillacs band was formed. Johnny had played throughout Northern California with the likes of JOHNNY PAYCHECK, ALABAMA, and EARNEST TUBB. Hal and Johnny have revived the old band under the new moniker "GUITARS & CADILLACS, and they play a delightful blend of old and newer country, as well as favorite hits from the fifties. The artist roster GUITARS & CADILLACS draw from include country legends like Hank Williams and Willie Nelson, newer country artists like George Strait and Dwight Yoakam, to fifties icons like The Everly Brothers, Ricky Nelson, and Chuck Berry. Rounding out the four-piece GUITARS & CADILLACS band on bass guitar and drums respectively are two of Hal's perrenial bandmates, Wayne Green and Marty Correia. Guitars & Cadillacs will often appear onstage with guest musicians on steel guitar, fiddle, or keyboards. For a great night of fantastic 50's and Classic Country, be sure to call on The GUITARS & CADILLACS band.
